FIONA O'LOUGHLIN
On A Wing And A Prayer
“My stomach muscles are still aching...
this woman is really, really funny.”
Sunday Age (Melbourne)
"Deliciously wicked confessions."
The Age (Melbourne)
In 2009 Fiona O'Loughlin fell from grace.
With her popularity at its highest, somehow Fiona managed to well and truly tumble off the wagon and onto the pages of the national media. She turned on
her favourite child (she'll tell you that's just not right!) and she took up therapy.
In 2010 Fiona took her very public battle with the bottle and turned her journey into a sell-out 2 hour show.
As is always the case with Fiona though – it's been a very funny journey indeed. After premiering On a Wing and a Prayer during the comedy festival last year, Fiona is returning to Melbourne with one very special encore performance.
Nominated for the 2010 Helpmann Award for best comedy performer, On A Wing and A Prayer is at times poignant, always honest but above all hilarious. Fiona may not be your usual image of an angel, but her tales drawn from life are sent from comedy heaven.
“Fiona is a master of comedy, and you will love her sassy remarks. Unless, of course, you are a member of her family...”
Hairline (UK)
“O’Loughlin is like the funniest friend you could hope to have, honest, upfront and witty”
One4review (UK)
“O'Loughlin has a gorgeous stage presence... a fearless, funny, extremely
appealing show.”
